Here in beautiful Portland, Oregon, there’s no shortage of great breweries making delicious award-winning beers and we’re proud to say we’ve made taps for some of the best in the business.
In 2012 we launched our first company, Bearded Boy Design, on ETSY in order to replace generic plastic tap handles with beautiful custom taps for breweries and home-brewers alike. Bearded Boy Design has since grown into a much larger custom fabrication house, but our eternal love for beer & brewers lead to the creation of Custom Tap Handles.

Whenever possible we use urban salvaged woods from the Portland metro area to create your taps. This helps us cut down on our waste and allows us to contribute to a more sustainable city & environment. As an added bonus, many of the salvaged woods we source have developed unique and beautiful characteristics that enhance the look & feel of your custom wooden tap handles.
